"The Microsoft Corporation has received a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) contract worth nearly one billion dollars for enterprise technical support services, the Department of Defense said in a press release."

sputnik: The tech giant will provide consulting services that include “software developers and product teams to leverage a variety of proprietary resources and source code,” according to the release.

'“Microsoft… has been awarded a non-competitive, firm-fixed price, single award, indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity contract for Microsoft Enterprise Technical Support Services,” the release stated on Tuesday.

'“The total cumulative value of the contract is $927,000,000.” The services will be carried out to support the Department of Defense's mission and they will be provided predominantly within the continental United States, the release explained.'
